MC-Maverix is a San Antonio-based artist, producer, and certified skate coach whose journey blends raw lyricism with a deep-rooted skate culture ethos. With over a decade on the board and a passion for music that began in high school home studios, Maverix officially launched his own recording setup in 2021 and has been evolving ever since.
His creative path began freestyling with longtime friend Scotty—bringing Cali energy, sharp bars, and genuine camaraderie. Early recordings were crafted on an iPhone, rapping over YouTube beats and voice memos, laying the foundation for a sound that’s both cinematic and soulful.
Maverix started releasing tracks and performing at local shows across San Antonio. His reputation in the skate scene grew alongside his music—riding for multiple teams, including High Society, where he built lasting friendships and captured footage across the map.
When the skate spark began to fade, music took center stage. Maverix immersed himself in the craft—logging hundreds of hours in tutorials, paid courses, and hands-on experimentation to refine his sound. Despite feeling like an outsider in his local creative circles, he chose to build his own lane.
That vision became Micz N’ Half Pipez—a brand and movement for the misfits, the youth, and the ones who fall, get up, and keep pushing. It’s more than merch or music—it’s a platform for purpose-driven riders and creators who echo resilience through every beat and every trick.
